Pop Up Beach Tents question by doggy_lover: Where can you park a pop-up camper on the beach between Galveston and Port Aransas,Texas?
I usually go camping with a tent or pop-up camper in Port Aransas,TX. There, I know you can park steps away from the water. I live in Houston and would like to go somewhere different and a little closer to Houston. I know in Galveston they won’t let you camp right on the water. If anyone knows a good place out of Galveston heading toward the Victoria, Port Aransas area please let me know.

Works well but does not stay up with much wind. Needs Longer stakes. I’m glad I bought it.

Beach Sun Shade Review by C. Holme for Pop up beach tent sun shelter
Rating:
We needed two sun shelters for a trip to the west coast. I needed them to be slim and light and to fit in a large suitcase. This product had to be easy to close after opening. When I used the pop-up tent I was amazed at how easy it was to close and store back in the slim pouch. It’s easy to wash off, too since it’s a lightweight fabric similar to sailcloth. The shade overhead is high enough for a grown six foot man to sit under with a low seat, as well. Personally, I love to stretch out and tan my legs a bit while protecting my head and face, so this item was perfect to use. I love that it comes with four pegs to sink into the sand so it doesn’t blow away. I can also use my plastic spring clips to drape a light sun blocking scarf over one end to block wind or blowing sand. They come in blue or yellow colors as well which was nice. I hope these pop-up tents last a while, but if they don’t because I use them a lot, I will certainly buy another one or two. Compared to two other shade chairs and pocket shelters that we own, these are a welcome addition convenient for trips to the coast or to the pool.
