I am taking my 20 month old daughter to West Palm Beach alone. We are flying & I can only carry & pack so much. I ‘m worried about getting everything we need to the beach. Like, chairs, umbrella, cooler,…..etc. I’ve seen the beach caddy or cart online & thought about getting it. But how do I get it on the plane? Shipping it there is fine but getting it home is impossible! It’s too large to pack. Any suggestions?
And we’re talking public beaches, not at a resort. I’m staying w/ my aunt. So there are no umbrellas or chairs to rent.

Well when we took my 14 month neice to miami, We really didn’t take too many things. We bought most of the general essentials there. That saves lots of space in your bag. For example, the tub of wipes, pack of diapers, lotions, flip flops, etc. When going to the beach just make sure you stay as simple as you can. There are umbrella’s you can rent at the beach. They may go for like for the entire day. They have deals where if you get the beach chair they give you the umbrella for .
As far as coolers and things just buy the foam ones at a CVS. She’s 20 months so she can sit up. Just be traditional, take 2 huge towels and both of you can lay there or if you decide to rent the chair and umbrella you both will be able to lay on it. Don’t make life complicated. The beach should be a relaxing place for both of you to get away.
For get about spending money on a caddy. Just get a really good spacious bookbag for both of you and that way you can just put both of your stuff in it. The food just carry in a bag. I hope this works.
