Hi, okay i have a problem. I have tried a ton of different ways, but i cant seem to get my umbrella to stay up in the sand at the beach. It just blows over after a few gusts of wind. Help please!

Unless you can push it way down in the sand it will not stand up because those big umbrellas are so top heavy that any little gust of wind will blow them down. This is why you see them tilted when walking on the beach where thy are used with the sun behind them and the people lying in the patch of shade they provide.

Have you seen those floding sun shades, or kids tents that you can fold into little packages? They have a thin metal strip inside. I need to find out what type of material that is and if you know where to get it.

im not sure, but would guess titanium, since it is known for its flexibility, but is also very expensive

thread the stabilizer screw thru. The screw just screws up to the side of pole . . but not thru it. I have taken it back to store twice . . now it has blown off and won’t straighten up . . .it is stuck in tilt position. Do they make them with hole to put screw Thru?

All of mine have a locking device which enables you to lock the pole upright or in various tilted positions. It also locks into the weighted base so they won’t fly away during the high winds.
