Beach Sun Shelters question by Jessica: Does anyone know if sun shelters are allowed on Waikiki beaches?
I assume the larger sun shelters are prohibited on Waikiki beaches as they strictly prohibit ‘tents’ to control the homeless. Does anyone know if a baby size cabana would get the boot? Or what is allowed? I’d appreciate answers from people who know rather than speculate. Thanks!
Since ‘Smarter Than You’ is such an idiot he didn’t understand the question, I will clarify for future morons who might take a crack at this. There are small sun shelters for infants on the market, as well as other products that protect infants from the sun. I’m wondering which product would be the best for Waikiki beaches considering the prohibition on tents.

It’s blue and it’s plastic, and i saw it one in Puerto Rico last summer.
Its a table that seats four and everything is attached and when your done using it it folds up into a rectangular, suitcase type of thing with a handle.. it also comes with a large umbrella but that isn’t attached.. PLEASE HELP! I’ve looked everywhere!!

I’ve seen a similar product made by Coleman. Below is a link to their site, with a similar product, but I don’t necessarily see the model that folds up into its own suitcase.
You might also check with your local sporting goods store. Another interesting option might be a nearby RV sales center…they often carry lots of camping/recreation equipment (especially stuff that folds up small for storage).

thread the stabilizer screw thru. The screw just screws up to the side of pole . . but not thru it. I have taken it back to store twice . . now it has blown off and won’t straighten up . . .it is stuck in tilt position. Do they make them with hole to put screw Thru?

All of mine have a locking device which enables you to lock the pole upright or in various tilted positions. It also locks into the weighted base so they won’t fly away during the high winds.
